# High-Growth Ag Biotech Start-up Hires Multiple Key Roles Utilizing AgHires

A biotechnology company, that is leading the way in developing human-compatible organs and cells, continues to be in high growth mode where finding talented hires is critical to their business success. With the sudden uptick in headcount, their human resources team needed additional support. They were specifically looking for a recruitment partner who understood the biotech industry and could hire for highly niche scientific roles as well as candidates who have worked with livestock. They were also looking for a partner who could scale with them and add additional resources when hiring spikes occurred.
## **Our Approach & Solution**
We worked cross-functionally with human resources, leadership, and hiring managers to understand the entire operation and its growth plans to ensure AgHires placed the right talent in the right roles. We also were able to identify their value proposition to candidates to attract them to their openings which often required relocation to the area. AgHires successfully filled several roles by developing a targeted recruitment strategy, utilizing AgHires’ vast network of professionals, and conducting in-depth interviews. Apart from our recruitment services, AgHires became a part of the biotech company’s HR team. We met with HR weekly to ensure the continued movement of candidates and were up to date on the priority of roles to pivot as needed. Our commitment to measuring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), including fill time and candidate profiles, helped us to identify struggle areas and pressure points that could be resolved, thus improving overall human capital and assisting in the growth of the ag biotechnology company.
## **Results for Ag BioTech Company**
Through our service, AgHires has placed over 20 hires and counting including leadership roles and technical roles, such as Neonatal Care, Registered Veterinary Technicians, Certified Vet Techs, Cell Culture Laboratory Technicians, and others across three facilities in two states. The ag biotech appreciated the dedication of the AgHires recruiting team and the cultural fit of our candidates, and they loved the candidates' willingness to learn and grow in their respective roles.
