Farm Worker for Livingston Family Farms, LLC

A little about the business: Livingston Family Farms is a progressive family farming operation located in southeast Nebraska. We are a row crop operation farming corn and soybeans on irrigated and dryland crop ground. We are looking for a full-time Farm Equipment Operator/AG Production Assistant for our operation in Reynolds, NE. In this role you will be a diversified farm operator performing a wide variety of farm duties.

In this role you will:

  • Operate farm and other heavy equipment such as sprayer, combine, tractors, and tillage equipment.
  • Operate a semi if needed.
  • Assisting with irrigation.
  • Be proficient with using the latest farming technologies.
  • Perform light maintenance on equipment.

What we're looking for: 

  • At least two years experience in agriculture operating farm equipment such as sprayers, combines, tractors etc. is REQUIRED.
  • MUST have the ability to work long hours during peak seasons of planting and harvesting.
  • Self-motivation, willingness to take tasks head-on, and a go-getter attitude.

What you will be doing:

  • Greeting walk-in and phone-in customers needing assistance
  • Ensure that equipment is maintained or repaired as requested by internal or external customers
  • Overseeing and managing the service center’s scheduling and work flow focusing on the minimization of time in shop
  • Proactively communicating the status of a customers’ equipment repair using telephone, texting and email (whichever the customer prefers)
  • Preparing invoices for completed repair or service work and collecting payment
  • Follow up with customers after a repair to ensure satisfaction

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in a customer service position, equipment or automotive dealership experience a plus
  • High school diploma or GED minimum, Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, with extensive experience with Word, Excel and locating data on the internet.

Soli Organic is seeking a passionate Grower to join their team in Sherman, TX. Under the direction of the Head Grower, the Grower is responsible for ensuring crops are grown optimally and on time to meet internal specifications.

What you would be doing:

  • Responsible for the quality of the crops to be grown under best practices.
  • Responsible for all operational requirements in the assigned greenhouse. This includes maintenance notification, irrigation, fertilization, growing environment monitoring, sanitation efforts, etc.
  • Responsible for the daily review of the crop quality. Any issues are to be raised immediately so action can be taken
  • Responsible for minor maintenance repairs or for notifying maintenance of any concerns which could result in delays because of equipment maintenance issues
  • Supervise and report regularly on a designated area of the grow facility

What we're looking for: 

  • Degree in Horticulture or combination education & experience
  • 2yrs. practical growing in commercial/retail greenhouse and 2yrs. with both manual and automatic irrigation systems
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish fluency preferred but not required
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills preferred.

Drain Tile Sales Lead for North Star Ag

A little about the business: North Star Ag is a full-service short-line machinery dealer in the upper Midwest offering a vast array of machinery, parts, and services! We are also an authorized ADS Drain Tile Distributor and are known for having the largest new and used inventory in the region, supplying our customers with great options when it comes to buying machinery. We do more than just sell machinery, we also offer services such as machinery rentals, custom bin moving, machinery setup, parts, and shop services.

We’re hiring a Drain Tile Sales Lead to be based near Tower City, ND who will grow and build North Star Ag’s tile distributorship into a large consistent part of the business and make North Star Ag the tile destination of North Dakota. In this role, you will spend half your time traveling throughout North Dakota visiting customers, and half working in the office on deliveries and inventory. We are willing to train!

What you would be doing:

  • Grow our tile business 50% year 1, 50% year 2, 20% year 3 & 10% every year after that.
  • Time split: 50% visiting customers, 50% office/delivery/inventory.
  • Network with industry professionals.
  • Prospect and visit customers on a regular basis.
  • Relationship building with customers (provide occasional lunch, marketing/clothing, help move tile around, etc.).
  • Customer entertainment/networking (taking customers to events/shows/educational seminars).
  • Manage tile inventory in yard, orders, and all billing.

What we're looking for: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred, agriculture
  • experience is beneficial.
  • Significant work experience in customer service or sales strongly preferred.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Able to memorize product specifications and demonstrate use accurately.

  • Writing and developing compelling marketing copy/content for email messages, websites, landing pages and industry blogs, including “Call To Action” (CTA) that will help drive online sales and activity and engage prospects and customers
  • Optimize website pages for organic search and conversions by using SEO-optimized copy, link-building strategies, content marketing, insights from Google Search Console, and A/B Split Testing

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ Years of experience and proven success working in an Ecommerce/Web/Marketing Dept performing ecommerce responsibilities for an ecommerce physical product-based business that sells products online direct to the consumer (D2C). B2B experience also very beneficial.
  • Digital/E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, E-Mail Marketing, Web Analytics and Lead Generation experience, skills and understanding required
  • Degree in Ecommerce, Web, Marketing, Business, IT, Animal Health Sciences or Communications; or Ecommerce/Internet Technical Degree/Certificate, desired
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ad Words, Google Search Console, Keyword Planning Tools, Keyword Planning Software, Competitive Research Platforms
