What you would be doing:

  • Operating the grain elevator scale which includes weighing and grading inbound and outbound grain to issue scale tickets
  • Providing a high level of customer service by being courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable as well as engaging with team members
  • Administrative work including running daily reports, balancing statements, and coordinating cross-checks of scale equipment
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 25lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic computer and typing skills

Sales Processing Administrator for AHW LLC

A little about the business:

AHW LLC is a 16 location John Deere Dealership, selling tractors, combines, sprayers, riding mowers, commercial equipment in east-central Illinois and western Indiana.

What you would be doing: 

  • Verifies the completeness and accuracy of sales information such as customer information, equipment quantity, amounts, and payoff information needed for settlements
  • Processes delivery receipts and warranty registrations
  • Loads and/or verifies retail note and used equipment floor plan and payoff information is added on the settlement
  • Ensures all eligible programs/discounts are applied to the sale
  • Loads John Deere rentals (including rental returns) into JD Set

Qualifications: 

  • Experience with using business system applications preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate throughout different levels in the organization
  • Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry preferred
  • Understands accounting fundamentals
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and internet functions

Technical Sales Account Manager for AgroFresh

What you would be doing:

  • Focus efforts on expanding Harvista™, pre-harvest ripening and crop-life extension products, strategies as outlined by the North American Commercial Director. Support the interface of sales and research with our customers, helping the organization understand specific customer needs from a technical perspective and expanding this to new crops.
  • Continue to maintain the present SmartFresh℠, post-harvest storage and shelf-life application, business while growing opportunities for other products offering fruit and vegetable growers and packers new options to manage crop loss.
  • Interface with key researchers, influencers and associations to maintain contact between AgroFresh and associated industries.
  • Maintain and build the commercial relationships with customers in the area of responsibility by providing technical information to help manage harvest, storage, packing and transportation.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, crop and soil science, agronomy, or related degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the fruit or vegetable farming industry or related ag field
  • Ability to work effectively both with corporate, internal stakeholders and informal, family-run businesses
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of integrity and ethical conduct
  • Travel (20-30%)

Precision Farming Technician for Stoller International

Qualifications: 
  • Ability to lift at least 75 pounds
  • Valid drivers license
  • Able to climb a ladder
  • Able to operate equipment or other power equipment as necessary
